Setup push notification for each category and you'll be alerted whenever an entry has been posted by your nanny or your spouse.
You can specify the category for which you'll receive a notification, for instance you can choose to be notified for the medical entries, but not for the diaper changes.
It's extremely useful if you don't want to open Baby Connect every time to find out if something has been posted, you can just wait for the push notification that will indicate you that something is new.
